Born and raised in Tucson, Alfred Chavez Sr. worked most of his life with the ambition of owning a business. Shortly after graduating from high school, Alfred Sr. committed to serving his country as a Navy Seabee where he sharpened his skills in metalworking and welding. Utilizing his military discipline, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, he founded Chavez Wrought Iron focusing on security and ornamental ironwork.

While adopting new and innovative approaches to our craft, Alfred Jr. and Adrian Chavez strive to maintain the same traditional techniques handed down to them by their father. Chavez believes in achieving Old World Craftsmanship using New World Techniques on every project. Putting these ideals into action, Chavez Wrought Iron now leads the local iron industry with a renowned reputation in craftsmanship, experience, customer satisfaction, and spirit of community that remains unmatched.
